This place is an amazing place to visit, for pleasure, for relaxing, for business…as it is part of an incredible hotel group, and fantastic old bars,with informal team, who are really on the ball! Top Notch!!

I have now stayed at all the pig hotel some more than once. This must be the worse from my experience. My room was freezing cold the bathroom was so cold couldn’t shower. Did tell receptionist waited so long for a response. Food was very disappointing. Would not recommend this pig hotel.

Beautiful building ,decor and ambiance was really atmospheric. Lots of staff and attentive , dinning room presented well also clean. I think there are a few tweaks that could be made in the food, eg a nice basket of bread instead of just one piece on a plate. More fresh veg served with your meal. We had to ask for sugar which was served on a saucer for our coffee. Slight expensive for what you got.

Booked an entire Christmas break around our spa treatments and afternoon to be spent at The Pig - they just rang us on the morning of our bookings and told cancelled them due to 'not enough staff'.

I met some friends for lunch at The Pig, i looked at places close to Cirencester and noticed The new pig in the Cotsworlds. What an amazing find. We had an outstanding lunch. I had the pork and the Chef accomodated me with my garlic allergy. I can't remember the last time I ate lunch out in the UK and enjoyed it so much. Lovely, I will return.

We haven’t yet stayed here but have eaten here and, like the other Pigs across the group, it is just delightful. Exceptional food, excellent service and wonderful ambiance. Highly recommend. Thank you to all the team!

Here for a lovely relaxed late autumn birthday lunch. We ate from the amazingly varied and wonderfully selected 25 mile menu ( having travelled further than the ingredients, but in a BEV on a green tariff) accompanied by well curated wines. Super cooking, great table service, a lovely bar to sample beforehand. Must come to stay and spa too next time

Escaping to The Pig after our wedding was the perfect way to unwind at the end of our wedding weekend. From the moment we arrived on that crisp October Monday evening, we were met with warmth and hospitality from the staff. The team went above and beyond to make our stay special, even arranging on the day availability at the spa while we waited for our room. We were delighted to find a bottle of bubbly waiting for us in our beautiful suite (The Secret Garden), a thoughtful gift from friends coordinated with the staff. The Secret Garden Suite was absolutely stunning - the garden views were beautiful and the bedding was so soft and comfortable. The restaurant was buzzing with a lively atmosphere, even on a Monday night. We enjoyed a really delicious dinner - the bread with herb oil deserves a special mention, followed by delicious terrine with blackberries and citrus cured ceviche then for mains, the sea bass with lobster sauce and a delicious chicken and mushroom dish with thrice cooked chips. The knowledgeable staff were really friendly, chatting with us to help us paired our courses with delicious wines from their extensive collection, enhancing our culinary experience. Alongside this, my partner has a severe nut allergy which the team were really considerate of - preparing a menu of desserts for the day that we could have or they could adapt that would be suitable. After a restful night's sleep, we enjoyed a fascinating garden tour led by the passionate gardening team. We learned about the diverse variety of plants and herbs grown on-site, many of which are used in the restaurant's delicious dishes, as well as the history of the house and gardens. Our minimoon at The Pig was truly a wonderful escape. The combination of exceptional service, luxurious accommodations, and delectable food created an unforgettable experience. We can't wait to return and create more special memories at this charming countryside retreat. Thank you so much!

We stopped at the Pig briefly on our way into Cirencester. The grounds are beautiful and there was a lovely fire in the reception area on entering. Very welcoming. We asked if we could have coffee somewhere and the young man on reception pointed towards a small bar area or a lounge. The only table available in the lounge had not had the table cleared from previous customers, we went to sit in the bar, a couple of staff walked through without speaking of making eye contact. Neither offered a menu or anything. We decided to leave. Travelling around Europe and further afield, It’s very rare to receive this poor customer service. I’m afraid it’s becoming the norm here and it shouldn’t be the case, especially in such an establishment. We live in the Cotswolds but we won’t be rushing back here. Such a shame. I wanted to love it.

This is an experience of a lifetime. Everything about The Pig in the Cotswolds was absolutely fantastic. Take a walk in the village, visit the spa, enjoy dinner and breakfast. It is all just perfect

A New Pig! Always exciting to check out a new Pig. We booked a Sunday lunchtime to come and checkout the new venue. It has a a wonderful cosy charm about it. It feels smaller than some of the other Pigs. Lovely period Cotswolds venue. The food was really good with the 25 mile menu. We noticed the service was very attentive in a good way, my wife has some allergies and the handled that really well. We did over hear that some staff were seconded from other Pigs for the new opening. So hope they can keep the high service level going. For luncheon we both had the pot roast chicken. Very tender and moist with a wild mushroom sauce. Spot on. They also do a basil cordial with Fever Tree ginger beer; sounds weird, tastes amazing. There was a lack of non alcoholic wines, just one sparkling. There are some great quality options available would encourage the management to consider adding some to the menu. Not everyone wants or can drink alcohol. We will return again soon but to stay and enjoy the whole experience.

I’m so glad to find the Pig. Real goal was to visit these iconic gardens formerly known as Barnsleys House not necessarily the restaurant. In terms of food, it is very very good, service is outstanding. For starters Eggplant is very delicious and first time tried lovage herd with pressed pork shoulder didn’t disappoint. Risotto and tomato dish were tasty. Reasonably priced for this beautiful location if like a garden stroll with a good meal. Gardens could definitely improve with better maintenance.

A great hotel in a lovely location. We were here for lunch, a limited menu but great food. Luckily we live close so will be back. The grounds, gardens and kitchen gardens are excellent and worth a walk around.

The latest of The Pig hotels. The house, the gardens and the entire layout are stunning. The staff are enthusiastic and professional. As with all Pigs the attention to detail in the decor, choice of drinks and food is exquisite.

What a fantastic experience, to be fair the price is expensive BUT it's absolutely worth it, what your paying for is a service second to nothing else, the staff to guests ratio is mind-blowing, sit relax and just get the experience your paying for, as for the food----- 100% one of best meals ever, super talented chef and team serving local fresh produce probably picked that day. The room we had was amazing and the complimentary soaps, bath salts etc are outstanding. The wines and drinks are well worth the price, could I pass my thanks on to Jamie in the bar, what an absolute credit to the pig, really happy, very knowledgeable and just an all round nice person I will return one day for that special occasion. Thanks to all the team for making our anniversary so memorable
